Design and develop electrical controls systems for automated equipment. This process will include sizing the correct circuit protection depending on the devices needed for the control system, selecting the correct hardware needed for specific control devices. This equipment can be found in Automotive manufacturing, aerospace, food and beverage and many others. The typical standards used in this industry but not limited to are NEC, IEC,  NFPA, UL, ANSI, CSA along with specific customer specifications.

• Compile a list of all the hardware or components required.
• Calculate power load requirements.
• Calculate safety system requirements.
• Select PLC, HMI type and any other peripherals.
